General English Conversation

These courses are designed to get your staff speaking English to a level of basic conversational ability, not only to give them the confidence to hold basic conversations in English, but also to prepare them for more challenging business English courses later. General English Conversation courses are usually designed around a standard adult textbook which forms the foundation of the course with the teacher providing additional supplementary materials where necessary. Business vocabulary and terminology can be included in these courses where required, but it should be noted that they are designed to focus on getting the students conversing in English to a level where they are ready to gain the maximum benefit from a true business English course. General English Conversation courses are ideal as preparatory courses for students whose level of English might hinder them gaining the maximum benefit from a full business English course.

General Business Conversation

This is our client's most popular choice of course, similar in some ways to our General English Conversation courses except that these courses are usually designed around a true business English textbook with our client's own or industry specific supplementary materials being included by the teacher to give the courses a more personalised feel for the students. The General Business English course can be refined to meet any of our client's specific needs; possibly with more emphasis on developing the staff's abilities in key areas such as negotiating, presenting and selling in English, whilst at the same time improving their overall level of English so that they are ready to move on to more in-depth skills based training.

Skills-Based Training

These courses are normally for students who are already at pre-intermediate level or above. The main focus of these courses is to provide the students with English instruction in areas that pertain to their actual roles in the workplace. We can design courses around a particular department in your organisation, maybe the Sales Department or Customer Service in retail companies or the Production or Contract staff in manufacturing companies. We have conducted many courses for hotels that were designed specifically for their Front Office, Food and Beverage, Security or Housekeeping staff.

We can design courses which concentrate on one or more particular areas of our client's business that must be conducted in English such as: presentations, negotiations, report writing, business telephone use, emails, faxes and memos even instruction in English for exhibitions, trade fairs and seminars.

Workshops and English Camps

When it comes to organising short training courses, workshops or English camps, T&T Training can take all of the pressure away from busy managers and directors by providing a complete one-stop service from searching for and selecting the best locations, all the way through to the successful conclusion of the course. Using a process of close consultation and needs analysis, these short language courses often incorporate elements of our client's own staff training programmes.
